….One little piece of fabric cause so much stress???
Swatch 3…. seed stitch. CO 20 stitches and work in seed stitch for 4 inches. Be sure there are “no holes.” Ummm, ok. What does that mean exactly? does it mean I should not see ANY light coming through if I hold it up? Or is it only speaking to the tendency for us to not pull the yarn enough when switching from knit to purl? And you know, if it’s too tight, too dense, it’s not much of a “fabric”… there will be no drape!
I know I’m over thinking/analyzing this! But here I am, about 3 inches into it and I’m stressing about what those little things are when I hold the swatch up to the light… are those HOLES???? Or normal, acceptable spaces???? Hmmmm?
