First and foremost, I am a Catholic wife, a mom and a homeschooler. I have been married 25 years and have 6 terrific kids! Knitting comes second to that. A very close second!
- I’ve been knitting for just a few years, but I took to it immediately and I knit all the time.
- My favorite thing to knit is baby items, most specifically longies and shorties.
- I LOVE wool, but I am not “too good” to knit with blends, some acrylics and cotton!
- The only yarn i won’t work with is a yarn whose name starts with a color and ends with an organ. Okay. That and fuzzy crap.
- I DO NOT like to knit with wooden needles. I love nice, smooth, FAST metal needles.
- I do not have a LYS… so I order most of my yarn online.
- I like to write my own patterns.
- I too often spend time knitting when I should be doing something else… like cooking and cleaning!
- I drive my family crazy with all the knitting crap everywhere!
- On 3 January 2008 I took the plunge and enrolled in the TKGA Master Hand Knitter Course, Level I
I am a Texan! What country are y’all from?

Romania is my country.
Roman-Catholic.. I am at home taking care of my elderly father and myself.
Listening every day http://www.radiomaria.us.
Have to rest a lot and try to build up patience by stitching.
BUT… is so difficult to find Christian stitches: real Jesus, real Easter or Christmas subject.
Now I try to find something simple for anEaster card: maybe monocolor, to be done in 2-3 hours…
Any ideas?
I have a blog, but I drop only few lines each few months.
Something like: bucharestblogspot.com
I admire a lot Catholic mothers and bless continuously the parents who are willing to have children. Withouth them there is no future in Our Church.
Best wishes and God’s blessings,
Ana Daniela
