Knitting Stuff I’m Thinking About

My Knitting Basket

Apart from figuring out how to tame the Stash Monster, (i.e. my ridiculous amount of yarn, needles, patterns, books and other notions) I have several things going and planned right now.  As I mentioned in a previous entry, I have signed up the the 52 Pair Plunge.  I’ve gotten almost nowhere, really, [...]

Bootee Number One

Bootee number one is complete. Okay. Not complete. Ends to weave in. Washing and “blocking” to do.
The instructions are hilarious. After it goes through the whole pattern, it says:

Soon To Be On My Needles

UPDATE:
This is on hold until I can get… Dale of Norway’s Baby Ull yarn! I could not get gauge with the other yarn. It is the same weight, but the fiber is different and it just wasn’t knitting up properly. So I am going to wait and use the right yarn. [...]

Pretty Excited About This One

I am making a baby afghan using 4 different blues and and off white. It is made up of 4X4 inch squares. I have used garter stitch, seed stitch and a square knit on the bias. I would like to figure out a lacy type of square to add to it. [...]

My Favorite Knitting

I love to knit baby things. Most baby things take very little time to finish. They are small. Nearly instant gratification. Of course, I love babies. Love, love, love babies! That’s why I’ve had 6 of my own and tried for many more and even though I’m old-ish, I [...]
